Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. She was noticed in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was deemed as the top female performer in box office history. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
