Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive hit and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also established herself as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
