Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. Lefevre was a waitress at tables at the time was discovered by one of the Canadian film maker, who assisted her in landing the role of her debut as an actress. Lefevre then moved in Los Angeles and earned a regular role on the TV program What About Brian (2006). Lefevre's talent for acting was discovered through a patron from Montreal when she was teenager in the restaurant. The show's frequent guest put her in touch with an agent for casting. That led her to landing a part in the production of a Canadian comedy. The appearances she made on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to play the lead David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC popular Life on Mars (2009). The father of Lefevre is French. She grew up in Montreal, but she spoke most of the time in English. In 2004 due to the lack of English role models in Montreal she moved to Los Angeles. Her biggest role was in Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight adaptation. This is the first novel in a series about popular teens' vampire stories.
